It is sad when apathy, and stagnation become the norm.
When denial is the way we deal with problems.
It is sad in national politics, and in school board politics.
Here, we are talking about our kids, the future....not lattes!

By putting Mr. Riggley back on the school board after he was kicked off is unbelievable! This community needs to come together to kick out the bozos that brought him back. It's a sad day for the Pleasantdale community.

WHAT is our school board doing? Do they not really care what the people have said? Didn't we vote Rigley out? Didn't we choose Doug Gilman as our next in line - he only lost by 9 votes. Why didn't the board just appoint him? They don't care what we think as a community...it is all about them - the path of least resistance. And, I'm sure Dr. Fredisdorf is really happy now - his contract is up for renewal - helps to have your old buddy back on the board to solidify that. 2013 is the next election - people need to get out and vote for who they want. No more apathy - our kids are at risk!

This is why folks don't vote, they feel their votes mean nothing and this is a great example. This Board is so transparent. There is something terribly unlawful about the superintendent having such close ties to the school board. Enough said, I'm disgusted.
