FYI - Park Board Meeting
There is a secret special meeting tonight at the Park District at 7:30 p.m. It's not posted online or on the marquis. They will be awarding some contracts with the money they don't have. Should be interesting....

Dealing with the park district this past year has been frustrating and sad. Pleasant dale Park District has the potential to be a successful recreation outlet for area residents. It will never live up to its potential until it is being governed and run by knowledgable individuals who listen to residents wishes instead of serving their own needs. Hopefully that will happen soon before more of our tax dollars are spent on consultants, inexperienced staff and facilities losing money. Luckily there are other recreation alternatives in the area people can turn to fufill their recreation desires.
