This is adorable and the elementary school students did a wonderful job singing the school song! However, were their parents notified that this video was to be posted to your blog? Many District 107 parents sign a request that their children's faces do not appear on the internet let alone in a video. Although this blog is private and not affliated with District 107, the video was taken at a school event and as a result sensitivity to this should be understood and respected. Thank you.
People are always so quick to complain. As a single working parent, I wish this kind of thing was done more often. I cannot take off of work to attend events at school. I wish Pleasantdale gave more consideration to those of us that must make this kind of sacrafice in order to keep a roof above our heads and food on the table. I'd like to attend things at school but I can't so if this is the only way to feel connected to my child at school, I'd like to see it done more often.
