Oh Mr. Maaartinnn, you missed another park board meeting! Let's see, is this the sixth or seventh meeting he's missed in the last 11 months? Honestly, we've lost count.
Didn't Martin change the meeting nights to Wednesday's because they were more suitable to his work schedule when he forced Carol McMurray's resignation from the board? So why is Brad absent from so many park board meetings?
Why did he even bother running for office if he's never going to come to the meetings? It seems rather convenient that once the half million dollar Chalet renovation to benefit Martin's sister-in-law's volleyball empire was complete, he lost interest in the park district.
Or maybe, just maybe, he no longer lives in the district he represents.

Thank you to Ernie Moon and Kevin Burke for representing the taxpayers of this community so well at last night's park board meeting and to the Mayor of Willow Springs for coming and asking excellent questions. It was nice to see 2 Board members concerned about park staff and to refrain from hiring yet another consultant/outsource company not needed at the park. Kudos to Mr. Moon for reminding Ms. Petrone that the Board's role is as policy makers and not everyday decision makers. Katherine Parker seems to have some great ideas. Let her do the job you hired you to do. Last thing, the Chalet does not need computer upgrades, it needs an EXPERIENCED manager to run the place and "bring it to the next level". Why is Ms. Petrone so insistent on hiring this consultant?
